December Ride - Patonga Christmas Ride

Hope everyone got home safe and sound from today's ride. What a day!!!!!

We had 64 bikes!!!! Today was my first ride with the group, also my first time in Traffic, first time on a freeway, first ride within a group at all. I was gobsmacked. I left home so nervous. (almost cancelled at the last minute, Trish wouldn't let me) Trish thanks for that!!!!

We arrived at Berowra at around 9.30, where the numbers just continued to rise. The call was made to the Barbeque GET MORE FOOD!!! We had 50 bikes and they were still rolling in.

We grouped up and rode on to Mt White, stopped for a drink and some drugs (soft core stuff for headaches). Then off we went to Patonga. The weather was hot and sunny, the beach was great (forgot my swimmers though).

Everyone was wonderful, a couple of dropped bikes that I know of and I'm not saying who!!! Just that one was me (loose gravel turning at Patonga).

Anyway just a quick thank you to Trish for encouraging me and buddying me to Berowra and making me feel so welcome.

Thankyou for the lunch provided and keep up the good work GRO. See you all on the January Ride. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!
