Follow old Pacific Hwy to Calga interchange
Turn right at first T intersection, then left at second T intersection on to Peats Ridge Rd
Follow to Peats Ridge, turn left on to George Downs Drive, follow to Kulnurra
Turn right onto Springs Road, turn right/changes to Greta rd, turn left/changes to Bumble Hill Rd
Turn right onto Yarramalong Rd
Turn right onto Old Maitland Rd
Turn right onto expressway, follow to Somersby interchange
Turn left onto Peats Ridge Road, follow to Peats Ridge and stop at The Corrugated Café (Old Oak’s site opposite Independent Servo)

Haven't done a GRO ride since ... winter (when I pillioned as my hand wouldn't let me ride). Now on the R1 with the pazzos - let's see if I can handle it now - weather permitting. This'll be my longest ride!

Hi Rebecca

I'll be going on the ride. It takes about 1 hour to get to Berowra from Eagle Vale so I plan to leave home around 8:15am. I reckon if we leave around the same time, we can meet on Raby Road just after the roundabout before you go up the hill.

At this stage they have forecast showers, but we will have to wait and see.

I'll check the forum again in the morning before I go.

Hi Rebecca, thats a pity because it turned out to be a really good day, and I was about the only one who turned up from our neck of the woods. It probably would have helped had I read your message before the others. There are always more rides.

We had 34 bikes start the ride and apart from a little hiccup with a corner marker at Old Maitland Road, everyone got to the corrugated cafe. They took a little time with the meals, but they were good meals so I think were worth the wait. Me, I just had a pie as it was quick. Lucky they gave me my pie straight away and so, even as tail ender, I ended up eating before anyone else. Now thats a first.

Next month we have the Walcha weekend away which I am looking forward to. You should think about joining us.

It was a lovely day for a ride so sorry I missed it. Anyway, booking myself in for next month. Is Walcha a different ride/date to the one in the calendar, I think that says its Lithgow?

Hi Rebecca,

Walcha is a weekender (two nights away) over the Anzac long weekend... Lithgow is the regular monthly first-Sunday day ride. Hope to see you on either (or both!) assuming my bike somehow manages both
